Delivery and Collection of Goods: Customer Responsibilities and Policies
5.1 Collection and Payment:
Once you’re notified that your order is ready, you have 5 days to either pick up the Goods or accept delivery and settle any remaining balance on the invoice.
5.2 Failure to Collect or Accept Delivery:
If you don’t collect or accept delivery within 21 days after being notified, we reserve the right to cancel your order, keep your deposit, and resell the Goods.
5.3 Storage Charges:
If the Goods are not picked up or delivered within 5 days of the availability notification, we may charge you for storage.
5.4 Delivery in Installments:
We may deliver your order in parts or in full, and we may deliver earlier than scheduled. You’re expected to accept the delivery under these circumstances.
5.5 Missed Installment Deliveries:
If we’re late in delivering one part of your order, it doesn’t give you the right to cancel the rest of your contract for the remaining Goods.
5.6 Delivery Agreement:
The agreed-upon place and date of delivery will be arranged between you and us.
5.7 Damaged Goods in Transit:
If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us and the carrier in writing within 3 days of receiving the Goods and submit a formal claim within 7 days.
5.8 Lost Goods or Delayed Delivery:
If your order is lost or delayed during transit, notify us and the carrier within 7 days of the invoice date and file a written claim within 14 days.
5.9 Delivery Timelines:
Any estimated delivery dates or times provided by us are just that—estimates. These dates aren’t binding unless we specifically agree to them in writing.
5.10 Carriage Costs:
Delivery costs will be added unless we agree otherwise in writing. If freight is included in your quote, we will decide the delivery route. Special requests for delivery routes may incur extra charges.
5.11 Partial Deliveries:
We reserve the right to deliver part of your order and will invoice you for the delivered portion based on these terms unless agreed otherwise in writing.
5.12 Storage for Delayed Deliveries:
If you’re unable to accept your delivery when it’s ready, we’ll arrange for storage either at our premises or elsewhere, at your risk and expense.
5.13 Restocking Fee for Incorrect Orders:
If you order the wrong Goods, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
5.14 Return Policy for New Goods:
New Goods can only be returned if we’ve agreed beforehand, and they must be returned in perfect, resalable condition. A 20% re-handling fee will apply to cover our administration costs.
By following these guidelines, both you and the company can ensure a smooth delivery process and avoid unnecessary complications.
